A modern, accessible consideration about Mandeville and the Travels. I'm always amazed that books like this exist - I get it, you can't always just read the primary text and understand everything! But to write a book like this you need to assume the reader has never read - and never will? - read the primary text. I'm sure there's a name for this type of work, I just don't know what it is.
