The Adventures of Pinocchio

Notes

I started reading this to Felix, and it's so weird! I guess I should have expected more deviation from the Disney version - it's not like they're known for straight adaptations or anything - but I was still surprised at how different it was. Pinocchio is quite the jerk at the beginning of the book, and I was pretty shocked when he kills the talking cricket. Seriously!

It's loose and episodic in nature, and I felt like it was never, ever going to end.
