Karl teaches at a stone carving workshop that I've been to a couple of times, and he clearly has a wealth of experience in both masonry and carving. I didn't know he had a book! This is an autobiography of his working-with-stone life, written in little episodes. I kind of loved it, and mostly I could hear it all in Karl's voice. It made me think everybody I know should write a book about their actual jobs.
