Notes

I'd never read any of this series, and I found myself charmed by its earnestness. It's a simple story, good versus evil, our hero becomes a warrior without committing a mis-step. It is by far one of the most innocent little stories I've read in a while, and the storytelling is sweet, but not cloying. Like a sweet dessert, this little taste will probably last me a long time. I don't expect to look up any of its twenty sequels.
