Moomin

We adore the picture / poetry books for children that we have (especially Who Will Comfort Toffle), but I've never read any of the original comics strips. These are cute, not terribly funny, but pleasant in their weirdness. They'd be great reading when you're on vacation in Finland somewhere. Jannsen's talent for composition comes through in these little strips, as does her incredible creativity and style in her characters.
