This was recommended by a friend and I will admit that I was kind of hoping it would be VERY bad; so I could say ‘thanks but no thanks’ and move on. This was described to me as ‘a nine-book series about the napoleonic wars but with dragons’. But it’s not bad! It’s actually pretty fun so far, and part 1 of book 1 is pretty much a Master and Commander book but with a dragon.
