I'm not normally one for biographies, so take any review here with a grain of salt. But man: interesting stuff! Cleopatra was a deft political operator, the richest person in the world, and the ruling monarch of the most civilized place on earth - during the time of Julius Caesar. This biography explains what we really know about her, and why the movies and later stories are probably all wrong.
