A Myth of Bacon

Notes

This is a verse play that covers the life of Francis Bacon, which I don't really know enough about to follow the plot here. But it seems to follow the outline of Thomas Cranmer in a way - hero accepts power from a dubious authority to pursue his own pure motives, and is tainted and then destroyed by it, with a last-minute redemption moment.
